InfoThis programme is designed to give you an introduction to motor vehicle maintenance and repair skills. You will be given the chance to be involved in a range of motor vehicle activities such as:
  • repairing brakes
  • suspensions and electrical systems
  • engine servicing and checking vehicles for damage
  • You will also develop a knowledge of how a garage runs and the basic legal requirements for running a motor vehicle
  • You will gain all this experience through work placement and in-centre training

The course can lead to a progression onto an Apprenticeship programme and/or employment in a garage, bodyshop or car dealer.
